Online Mindsets and Pruning Your Commitments

The word priority initially meant 1 thing above all others. Having multiple priorities is the same as having no priority.

Howdy to my 1127 supporters! πŸ‘‹πŸ»I know. It's not Friday.

I'm back in the classroom teaching at the start of the school year. And I immediately realized if I want to continue this newsletter I had to make a couple adjustments: 1) To assure high quality issues, the cadence will change to twice a month instead of weekly.2) Issues will arrive in your inbox on Tuesdays instead of Fridays.

I'm truly grateful for those of you who've stuck around to support me though this last month of evolving the newsletter. πŸ₯°I'm humbled and honored. Thank you. πŸ™πŸΌπŸ’™πŸ’™πŸ’™,PJ

ANALOGY

The word priority initially meant 1 thing above all others. Having multiple priorities is the same as having no priority.

I might be mixing my metaphors here, but if you plant 10 seeds and ration a cup of water over all 10 seeds, none of them sprout. But if you plant a single seed and use the entire cup to nourish the soil surrounding the seed, it will bear the most delicious of fruits.

When you cut off the excess, you cultivate the space to grow.
