A piece of advice I give my screenwriting students:
Write ALL your ideas down.

If you want to make the good stuff, you have to get through the bad stuff.

📐 DESIGN

There’s a lot that goes into clarifying, simplifying and amplifying an idea and turning into a visual, but ask any creator and they’ll tell you it all starts with writing down observations.

This observation later turned into this:

Takeaways:

  • Write all ideas and observations down without judging their merit.

  • Challenge yourself to getting it on the page in less than 10s.
