I tried my best this issue to pick a few of my favorite visual metaphors I’ve created over the last 4 years.

Hope you enjoy!

NUMBER 1

The simple difference between thinking and writing.

Side note: If I had to pick just a single visual that’s changed my life, it’d be this one. Made 4 years ago and it’s still the most shared visual I’ve ever made.

NUMBER 2

The mediocre teacher tells.
The good teacher explains.
The superior teacher demonstrates.
The great teacher inspires.

– William Arthur Ward –

NUMBER 3

The difference between managing and leadership.

NUMBER 4

And if you want to do everything, you can!
Buuut ONLY at the speed of one thing at a time.

NUMBER 5

My favorite paradox.

NUMBER 6

"We cannot change the cards we are dealt, just how we play the hand."

— Randy Pausch —

NUMBER 7

The difference between thinking and overthinking.

NUMBER 8

What connects your actions and your expectations?
(whether it’s spoken aloud or a silent understanding)

Some relationships are meant to be transactional. That's okay. It’s how most of the world works.

But the relationships that hit different are the ones that don’t keep score. And it's worth knowing which kind you're in and which kind you're offering.

NUMBER 9

We become what we refuse to release.

NUMBER 10

Money is a means to an end (not the end itself).

But often in the pursuit of more, we sacrifice the very things money was supposed to help solve (or at least make easier).

When the bucket is full, nourish your flowers.

Have any favorites that didn’t make this list?

After 900+ visuals, picking 10 favorites was much harder than I thought!

Did any of these visuals spark a feeling or story you’re willing to share? Shoot me a reply! I can’t respond to everyone, but I read them all!

Side note: I’m starting to notice in pictures I either have no chin or double-chin 😭😭😭
